I was born and raised near Springfield, Ohio (no, I do not know Homer, Marge or Bart). My first modeling experience was when I was picked out of my Girl Scout troop at a local department store during a badge day event for the big fashion show finale. They picked me because I was one of the tallest girls in the room (about 5'6" at age 11). Modeling was just a hobby for me until 2000 when I decided to take it seriously and pursue it as a career.

In January 2002, I made the leap from Columbus, Ohio to Los Angeles, CA and began acting in August after it was suggested to me by an agent at Elite model management. Within a month, I had my first SAG voucher with a featured non-speaking role on the WB series "Angel".

I made my L.A. theater debut in July 2003 as one of the leads in "The Switch" at The Next Stage Theater in Hollywood. That role led to 4 more shows at The Next Stage including "Waffles, The Second Helping", a sketch comedy that I helped write and also directed.
